Maryland Lynching Memorial Project

The Maryland Lynching Memorial Project (MLMP) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization that works to advance racial reconciliation within our state by; 

  • researching and documenting the history of racial terror lynchings in the state;
  • advocating for public acknowledgement of these murders;
  • supporting the Maryland Lynching Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and;
  • honoring and dignifying the lives of the victims.
